"Being a Chamber Ambassador has given me the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of Chamber members in all areas of business.
Watching a new business open their doors, or another re-establishing themselves with a new look or new location, whatever the case, it is always great to be there to wish them well! Their success is good for all of us!
Having spent most of my life in Rockford, being a Chamber Ambassador is a great way to inspire others to find the good in the community, be part of the "pulse" of the business community, while encouraging them to take advantage of the services and relationships that membership in the Chamber has to offer."

"I have enjoyed being a Chamber Ambassador twice. During the 90's when I was fortunate to be chairman of the group and now again the last couple of years. It is amazing and pleasing to see how the Ambassadors and the Chamber have grown during those years in both their commitment and the opportunities they offer to the Rockford business community.
Being an Ambassador gives me the opportunity to network and to meet new people, which includes learning about new businesses in Rockford and existing ones that you may be unfamiliar with, to participate and assist in many wonderful events, to help promote the Chamber and Rockford throughout the community, and to have fun. Rockford is very fortunate to have a Chamber of this caliber and a Chamber staff willing to assist their members in any way they can."
