The Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club is the volunteer arm of the Chamber. Wearing traditional red blazers, our Ambassador serve as mentors to new members, and are active at grand openings, ribbon cuttings, open houses and Chamber events. Ambassadors help ensure members obtain value from their membership by keeping them updated and involved and by encouraging active participation in the Chamber.
Mission:
The mission of the Ambassadors Club is to foster membership engagement and retention in Chamber programs, services and events by increasing awareness of Chamber benefits.
Ambassador Role:
- Calling before and greeting members at Chamber events
- Serving as a host to new members (Adopt-A-Member) and facilitating networking at monthly events
- Serving as a hosts at ribbon cuttings, grand openings and other functions in the community
- Encouraging members to be engaged in Chamber programs and events
- Participating in the Annual New Member Campaign
Opportunities:
Ambassadors are afforded many Chamber privileges, including:
- Professional networking opportunities
- Exposure on the Chamber's website through the Ambassadors' committee roster
- Volunteer experience and credibility
- Top Ambassadors receive an invitation to attend designated Chamber events as guests of the Chamber
Requirements:
Ambassadors represent the Chamber and must be Chamber members. They are expected to communicate with assigned members (usually 1 or 2 per month), interact with members at Chamber events, and help at ribbon cuttings, grand openings and other events.
Become An Ambassador:
Applications are accepted throughout the year. Download and fill out the application.
The Ambassadors meet the 2nd Thursday of every month from 11:45 1:00 pm at various member locations. The Ambassadors discuss Chamber business, Networking events, Ribbon Cuttings and New Member retention. Speakers are scheduled for various meetings.
